Do you guys know about “Candle Night”?
It is about spending a night without any light source, except from candles.
Isn’t it romantic to walk inside the light from candles in a dark night? uwu
I bet you wanna go too!
It is held twice every year in Karuizawa Kogen Church (軽井沢高原教会) in
Karuizawa City, Nagano Prefecture.
I ran away from last year’s August summer heat by going to Karuizawa to see the Summer Candle Night!
According to the staff, it used to be held only at winter. However, the popularity of this event made them decided to hold this event twice a year.
After I arrived at the church, I felt like I was in a world of fantasy! o(*≧ω≦*)o
It’s not even Christmas yet, but there’s also a Christmas tree made out of candles.
It was so crowded due to the Obon (お盆) Holidays.
“I’m so happy! It’s like my birthday”, a girl who came with her family mumbled to herself.
I also think so^^
In the entrance, we will receive a lantern from the staff.
It looks so fancy!
It feels more special by carrying the lantern while walking.
But it’s so dark! I almost lost my way...
It’s OK, the candle light will guide you!
