Oooo that's a good question! For fall, Maggie recommends eating any dishes with sweet potato. Grilled Sanma is also a dish enjoyed by a lot of Japanese people. For winter, I like to sit in my kotatsu and eat mandarin oranges or mikan. For Maggie's favorite season, spring, I think of desserts, especially Japanese desserts or wagashi like Ichigo Daifuku or Sakuramochi. Spring equals sakura in Japan so there are so many sakura flavored foods to be enjoyed! Since it's hot in the summer, the local fruits is what Maggie recommends for this season. Like watermelon, plum or otherwise known as ume. However, the best recommendations of the seasons is what your area has to offer, so asking the locals is the best thing!
Any recommendations for food to eat for each season?
