What is the queue associated with for you? For me, this is a place where people curse and push each other for a product everyone wants.
Is it evil to stand in a queue?
Before arriving in Japan, the line in the store caused me only negative emotions. I was surprised when I saw the queues everywhere here. The Japanese line up in a chain, for example, to eat some ramen or to buy limited seasonal products. I feel like the Japanese really love queues.
Now for me this phenomenon is a quality mark. It shows me the popularity of the product. If people are crowding in front of the entrance to the cafe, then in 9 out of 10 cases you can find there delicious food! This phenomenon is also used in advertising of goods. Even before the consumer opened and tried the product, the seller already showed that the noodles are tasty.
Japanese everyday queue is not a terrible phenomenon. Nobody curses at you or climb over the head, but only patiently waits, even in the morning rush hour.
Is the queue different in Japan and your country?
