The Government of Japan will be handing out 100,000 yen worth of coronavirus payouts to help residents of Japan tide over this crisis.
【Eligibility】
Anyone who is on the basic resident register as of April 27.
Foreign nationals who have been granted a status of residence for more than three months and are registered as residents, are eligible!
【How to Apply】
An application form will be mailed to everyone who is eligible
If you have a My Number card (different from your Residence Card!), you can apply online through the government website
＊Note:
The head of household is responsible for applying for everyone in the family.
The cash will be wired to his/her bank account by May earliest.
