Do you understand what is written in your medical report?
It must be difficult with all the medical terms.
Allow me to explain the components in the medical report one by one!

1. Body Measurements
 a. BMI
  Body Mass Index (BMI)= Weight (kg) ÷ Height (m) ÷ Height (m)
You can calculate your BMI and compare it against the BMI chart here:
  https://www.thecalculatorsite.com/health/charts/bmi-chart.php

 b. 腹囲(Fukui)Waist Measurement
This helps to determine whether you have metabolic syndrome.
In general, 85cm and above for males, 90cm and above for females indicate the possibility of metabolic syndrome.

2. 血圧(Ketsu atsu)Blood Pressure
The average for adults is 140 (Systolic)/90 (Diastolic) mmHg.

3. 眼科(Ganka)Eye examination
Naked (裸眼 Ragan) eyesight (視力 Shiryoku) of less than 0.6 indicates poor eyesight.
Corrected (矯正 Kyousei) eyesight of less than 0.6 indicates a need for readjustment (再調整 Saichousei) of visual aids.

4. Hearing test (聴力 Chouryoku)
2 types of frequency (周波数 Shuuhasu), 1000Hz and 4000Hz are used. The former gives a low pitch (低音) while the latter gives a high pitch (高音). 1000Hz tests for the ability to pick up everyday conversations while 4000Hz tests the possibility of future hearing difficulties.

5. Urine test (尿検査 Nyoukensa)

 a. Red Blood Cell count (赤血球数 Sekkekkyuusuu) & Haemoglobin levels (血色素量 Kesshikisoryou)
Low levels of haemoglobin and/or low red blood cell count* indicates anemia (貧血 Hinketsu)
  *Red blood cells carry haemoglobin

 b. Diabetes (糖尿病 Tounyoubyou)
Fasting blood sugar levels (空腹時血糖 Kuufukujikettou) of above 110mh/dL and/or HbA1c of higher than 5.6% indicates a risk of diabetes and therefore requires caution.

 c. Liver functions (肝機能 Kankinou)
AST and ALT are enzymes (酵素 Kouso) of the liver. High levels of these enzymes indicate the possiblity of Acute Hepatitis (急性肝炎 Kyuuseikan-en), Chronic Hepatitis (慢性肝炎 Manseikan-en), Fatty Liver Disease (脂肪肝 Shibouka), Alcoholic Hepatitis (アルコール性肝炎) and etc
High levels of γ-GT indicate possible overconsumption of alcohol.

 d. Lipid Levels (脂質 Shishitsu)
  I. HDL cholesterol
Known as the good cholesterol, problems arise when its levels are low

  II. LDL cholesterol
Known as the bad cholesterol, high levels indicate high risk of arteries clogging (心筋梗塞 Shinkin Kousaku)

III. Neutral Lipids (中性脂肪 Chuusei Shibou)
The excess will be stored as visceral fat (内臓脂肪 Naizou Shibou) and may lead to atheriosclerosis (動脈硬化 Doumyaku Kouka)
